The University of the Cumberlands is a private Christian university in Williamsburg, Kentucky. It was founded by Baptist ministers in 1888 as Cumberland College until it changed its name in 2005. The university also changed its athletic nickname from Indians to Patriots at that time. About 18,000 students are enrolled at the university.
